Why Stage?

I get asked this question a lot. "Is it worth it?"

There are many benefits to staging your home for sale!

Think back to a first date that you had with someone. Chances are that you probably thought about what you wanted to wear, perhaps how you even wanted to smell. You may have even curled your hair or put some product in your hair, if you are a male. Why? Because you wanted to make a good first impression right? Why? Because first impressions matter.

Staging your home for sale is the opportunity to make that great first impression. It's an opportunity to show your home at it's best, whether that is a vacant staging or an occupied one. Both matter.

Here are some other reasons to stage:

1) Gives the buyer an opportunity to see what will fit in the spaces.

2) Gives buyer an idea of what to do with certain spaces.

3) Can help your home stand out among others in the area and it can potentially help your home sell faster and for more money.

4) Staging, coupled with great photography, can bring in more potential buyers as the home will be staged in a way that appeals to many style tastes.

5) Highlights the homes best features.

Staging Facts from the National Association of Realtors 2019:

-"Forty percent of buyers' agents cited that home staging had an effect on most buyers' view of the home."

-"Eighty-three percent of buyers' agents said staging a home made it easier to visualize the property as a future home."

-"Buyers were more willing to walk through a home they saw online (38 percent) and buyers agents identified that staging would positively impact the home value if the home was decorated to a buyer's taste (37 percent)."
